| With the huge surge in Digital Cameras, I was wondering if people are still using 35 mm cameras. Do you think that 35 mm will soon be obsolete? |

Well any change would take a while, since people want to stick with what they are familiar with. And a lot of people actually don't know anything about digital cameras; nearly a quarter of my college class, and half of older people I know have no idea how digital photography works.
Its a bit like computers really, the younger generations seem to be into digital photography, while the older generation tends to stick with what they grew up with.
Personally, I would switch to digital-only when digital becomes as good as 35mm, and when digital photos can last as long. |

| There's also a price issue. As much better as digital technology is getting you can still get a lot more camera for the money with 35mm. |
