What do you think the main reasons people choose the Black and White medium?
For me, it makes the photos look more vintage. When you go to art exhibits it seems that you see quite a few black and white exhibits, so there must be something to it. |

Well I use black and white because I can't afford color ink, and b/w is cheaper to print on the computer :)
Otherwise, apart from artistic issues, I've never seen anyone use black and white for regular photos. Perhaps it just looks different (or interesting)?
Does anyone know if black and white is cheaper, or more expensive to print? |

| Black and white photos look better in my opinion. They just look much classier and provide a cool lloking image of whatever you were looking at. it is also much cheaper to shoot this way. |

| people still use black and white ? very surprising...to be honest its been ages, i have seen anyone taking any black and white pictures. But i have a feeling that black and white photos have a sort of royal look to them, and as someone mentioned before as they cheaper they could be an option. But really, i would go for colour any day. |
