Your own Darkroom?

Does anyone else here have their own darkroom? I have a darkroom in my basement where my dad and I develop black and white photos for fun. The equipment is fairly good, and it wasn't that expensive.

soundds interesting....what kind of equipment did you need to set up the darkroom..and how much did it cost you ? what are the different features of the equipment you have ?

My dad gt the equipment from an old man who just wanted to get rid of it for around 800 dollars. We then built a room in teh basementm since it needs to be dark. You need a very light light, and a bunch of other equipment like the main thing that projects the pictyure from the negatives, the chemicals, the paperr, and a lot of other things. The things we have are really old, and I am unsure of the brand.

I use my college darkroom, which is fully equipped with the latest technology and filled with hundreds of equipment. Of course you gotta be a photography student to get access to the room, but what they don't know can't hurt them ;)

I've never used it much though, messed up my first processing try badly, and from then on I took the easier path of going to the newsagent to get my photos processed.

I had my room at my parents house double up as a dark room. When we moved to our flat it was in the loft.

Have packed it all away since i had to move back to my parents but its still there for when the urge to walk away from digital strikes again!
