A small tip for those who develop their own black and white film. Sometimes when printing the negative small scratches may appear. To overcome this, rub your nose with your thumb and forefinger. Do this a couple of times and then rub them on the emulsion (back) side of the negative. Your natural body oils will fill the small scratches which should then not appear the next time you print. Also, the oils won't harm the film. This will obviously not work on deep scratches.
